  The Bickers Family were early pioneers to Williamson County, Illinois, which was formed in 1839 as a result of what was then considered to be Franklin County, Illinois, by a vote of the State Legislature the formation of a new county out of the southern half of what was then known as Franklin County, Illinois. The new county was formed and named Williamson County, Illinois, with the County Seat located in Marion, Illinois.
  
  The Bickers Family were early landowners of the surrounding land where this old family burial site is located. This is located private land.
